I'm all about finding good seafood in Ireland and you can't go wrong with The Eagle's Seafood Linguine and the Cod with veggies in Dun Laoghaire. Definitely delicious, large portion and very clearly well made and presented. I will be back for more.

Response from the owner

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed both our Seafood Linguine and Cod dish. Our kitchen team takes great pride in sourcing quality ingredients and presenting every dish to the highest standard, so it's fantastic to know that came through in your experience.

We're also pleased that you found the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed, and that our team helped make your visit enjoyable.

We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back to The Eagle for more seafood soon.

Likely one of the most civilized and flavorful pubs I’ve visited in Ireland. Spacious, tastefully designed, with excellent food and attentive yet unobtrusive service. It’s simply the perfect example of what a modern pub, run by people who truly care, should look like.

Response from the owner

Dear Michael,

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review and for the photos.! We’re delighted you enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service at The Eagle. It’s especially lovely to hear that the care our team puts into creating a welcoming experience comes through.

We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back to Glasthule again very soon!

Service was great. Lovely interior. But we got the burrata salad and it was really bad, burrata had no flavour, nor did the pesto on it and there was a sprinkling of leaves under it, nothing to give any flavour to it. The "sourdough" on the side was slice pan??? That said, the burger was delicious. But that felt like a huge waste of 15€

Response from the owner

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the service, atmosphere and the burger, but we’re very sorry the burrata salad fell so far below expectations.

Your comments regarding the flavour, presentation and the bread served alongside it have been noted and will be shared directly with the kitchen team. We completely understand your disappointment, especially when a dish doesn’t feel worth the price paid.

We do appreciate you taking the time to highlight both the positives and negatives, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to give you a much better overall experience next time.
